The Municipal Attorneys Association of Kentucky, or MAAK, was formed in 1983 with the goals of educating its members and providing a forum for discussion of issues affecting cities. We are a support system for full and part time city attorneys and private practitioners representing cities and municipal entities. Our annual member events are geared towards municipal practice and litigation defense and feature legislative updates, reviews of case law and regulations, and examinations of local laws and procedures. MAAK brings together seasoned attorneys and young lawyers seeking guidance and collaboration. Together, we are shaping the future of Kentucky’s cities.
